Moana Kava is a Tongan company that specializes in traditional kava farming and fruit agriculture. They’re passionate about their products and have an extensive knowledge of the traditional ways of growing kava. We’re excited to be working with them to bring you the best kava in Tonga!

100gm Instant Kava (Vanuatu)

The problem with kava is that it’s a pain to prepare. It’s not just a matter of putting it in a shaker and mixing it with water—you must wait for it to soak before you can drink it.

But Australia Kava Shop’s Instant Kava solves this problem! You put a half teaspoon in your glass of water, stir for 10 seconds, and drink—it’s as simple as that!

Our Instant Kava is made using a water-based extraction technique. We do not use alcohol, solvents other or chemical extraction.

Unlike other supposed instant kavas, ours is made from the green kava juice of the Borogu and Palarusal kava plants from Santo Island. Farmers bring fresh kava in from the islands daily. It is then cleaned and juiced under strict HACCP conditions. The juice is then dried out in evaporators to form a powder. It is then milled into a soluble powder ready to drink!

A kava strainer is a simple device used to strain kava powder into a water-based liquid. The strainer is made from FDA approved nylon and BPA free materials. It can be used to prepare any amount of kava powder from 30 grams to 500 grams comfortably.

Why do you need one?

Many things can be used to strain kava, cheese cloth, stockings, and even old t-shirts! However, a high micron kava strainer can significantly increase the extraction of kavalactones and the quality of your kava juice.
