Shipping FAQs

Q: Do you deliver?

A: Yes!  We ship kava to all of Australia except for the Northern Territory.

Unfortunately, at this time we do not ship overseas.

Q: How much Shipping cost?

A: Delivery rate will depend on your order size and your location. Shipping costs start as low as $7 per order and for orders under 5kg should never exceed $33.

Q: How long will my kava order take to be delivered?

A: After 2 years in the business and shipping out over 3500 orders, we have learnt to stick with the best, Australia Post. We offer the following Australia Post services:

 

Australia Post Parcel Post: 7 to 10 working Days

Australia Post Express Post: Metro 1- 2 workings Days, Regional 2-4 working days.

 

Please keep in mind that once your order has been shipped, we are no longer able to expedite the delivery time – your order is in Australia Post’s hands!

Q: How often do you Ship out?

A: We ship out every Gold Coast Working Day at 2pm. If you place your order before 2pm, we ship out same day. During busy periods, such as the lead into Christmas we ship out twice a day to be sure that you have every chance of getting your order in time.

Q: How do I know where my order is?

A: As soon as we process your order for shipping, you will receive a tracking email from us with a link to the Australia Post tracking URL. You can monitor this URL for the ongoing status of your order.

Q: Do I need to be home?

A: No, Australia Post will either leave it in your post box or in the case of Express Post will leave it at your door. If you are going to be away and want your order to be delayed, then contact us and we will Endeavor to put your order on hold until such time as you want us to ship it.

Q: Can you ship to PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers?

A: Yes we can!

Q: How are the goods packaged?

A: Every care is taken to ensure our Kava get to you in good condition.  All our products are shipped in robust packaging it helps to ensure that the product arrives in the best condition possible. Please note that we are unable to blank label the sender details, so your package will arrive marked as Sent from “Australia Kava Shop”.

Returns FAQs

Q: Can I return my order if I don’t like it?

A: Kava is sold as a consumable food in Australia and New Zealand. This means that we are unable to take returns on products once they are opened if you do not like the product. If you received your order and it’s been damaged in transit, please contact us immediately to arrange replacement of your order.

 

Kava Accessories such as Alu Ball kava Shakers and straining bags if found to be faulty can be returned. Simply Contact Us about your problem and we will get you to ship the faulty product back to us. Once received we refund your product plus the cost of shipping.
